Below are some simple rules to remember when creating new application databases in Microsoft Dynamics SL.
- No special alpha characters such as dollar signs, pound signs, hyphens, ampersands, etc. in the database name.
- No more than 20 characters in the database name.
- No database names that begin with a number.
