What's New in Acumatica 2017 R2

With its most current release, Acumatica has moved to a model year version convention.  The version prior to 2017 R2 was labeled 6.10.  You can expect to continue to see two (2) major releases from Acumatica each year (R1 around April and R2 around October). Roughly every 6 months.

Acumatica 2017 R2 introduces a great deal of new functionality including a new user interface designed to reduce the number of clicks it takes to get to the information you need.  Users will have an option to keep the Classic interface they are currently using or embrace the new user interface.  The interface option is by user.

The new UI (user interface) is amazing and achieves the goal of streamlining processing.  User have the ability to configure their own work spaces with the screens and reports they need to access by user role.
