It is always recommended that you perform a backup before making changes to your
installation.
To add a company logo to the menu in Microsoft Dynamics SL, follow these steps:
1. Rename the company logo file by using the following format:
company_ID.bmp
Replace the company_ID placeholder with the company ID that Microsoft Dynamics SL accesses when you log in to Microsoft Dynamics SL.
2. Add the .bmp file to the Microsoft Dynamics SL root directory.
3. Log into Microsoft Dynamics SL. You will see the logo displayed in the upper-left section of the menu.
Notes
Each company ID in the Microsoft Dynamics SL installation can have a different logo.
The logo must be saved with the .bmp extension. No other extension will work.
The dimensions of the logo cannot exceed 192 pixels x 40 pixels. Otherwise, the logo may appear truncated.
If no .bmp file exists for the company, a default logo is displayed. This logo is the Product.bmp file in the Microsoft Dynamics SL root directory.
