Microsoft has released the Year End updates for Microsoft Dynamics SL. The updates can be downloaded from Customer Source.
The 2010 Year End Updates includes changes for 1099 and W-2 reporting to comply with 2010 tax year regulations. Included with the update files is a technical document. TY2010YrEndUpd.pdf “Microsoft® Dynamics SL 1099 and W-2 Reporting for Tax Year 2010” details the changes being made with this update along with detailed installation instructions. This update is inclusive of the previously released HIRE Act updates.
These updates support the Microsoft Dynamics SL versions in the listing that follows. Refer to the folder in the downloaded file that represents the version you currently have installed to locate compatible updates. If you are currently running Microsoft Dynamics SL 6.5 SP1 or prior, you must first update to Microsoft Dynamics SL 6.5 SP2 or higher before installing these year end updates. You do not need to install the 2009 year end updates before installing the 2010 updates. These updates also include the changes made with the HIRE Act Updates.
