Derek has over 20 years of experience in the fields of accounting, finance, and business intelligence software. Prior to becoming a partner and senior consultant with the MSX Group in 2009, Derek spent 11 years consulting at FRx Software and Microsoft, where he implemented financial reporting, budgeting, and business intelligence software at over 200 clients worldwide and trained over 5,000 end users. In addition, Derek has an MBA from San Diego State University and six years of experience as a financial analyst and assistant controller. He has expertise in financial accounting, GL closes, auditing, budgeting, and reporting.

Jennifer Pippin has been a member of the Dynamics SL community since starting on Solomon IV v2.06 in 1997. She has been a consultant, reseller, administrator, and user of Dynamics SL. Her expertise strong suits are training users on best practices, providing quality technical support, writing custom reports, and troubleshooting user problems. Since returning to the user community, she has split time between IS/IT and accounting duties. Her current position is information systems specialist at Mackay Communications in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mackay is a provider of satellite communications and installs and services maritime communication and navigation systems. The company operates in 15 US ports and seven strategic international locations. Jennifer has a strong knowledge of accounting, operations, and system administration.
