Dynamic SL User Group Conference 2012

Act Now, Regular Registration ends July 31.  Don’t miss out on this year’s Dynamics SL Users Group Fall Conference, Premium Content and Sponsor Led Sessions.  This conference is exclusively devoted to Dynamics SL and supporting third party applications.  Attend the conference and learn how users, like you, are using the SL solution to drive efficiencies and to effectively manage their business.  Regular registration ends July 31 at the normal rate of $525 plus corporate membership of $300.  Late registration of $650 runs August 1st thru August 29.

  • SL Administration for the Newbie – In this Premium session, discover what any new professional needs to know about SL in order to get a jump start on successfully administering an SL environment. Glean tips and tricks from the experts! In this Nuts and bolts style session, we will cover what a typical Dynamics SL installation looks like and the tools for troubleshooting. Understand what customization options exist, from reporting to screen customizations and how to find them. Develop an understanding of how access rights, groups, and menuing work to better manage user’s rights and the role tailored experience. We will also cover data import options as well as a number of other concepts to make you a successful SL Administrator.  The class is scheduled for Wednesday Sept 19th from 8:00am to 12:00 pm and cost $395.

 

  • Management Reporter: Installing it, Migrating to it, and Living with it – Are you ready to move to Management Reporter 2012? Not sure where to start? This class will cover the installation and migration process – step by step, review key maintenance and data cleanup in FRx to prepare for the migration process, and help to understand what to expect post migration. Once you get those reports running, you will need to know how to run and enhance your reports in MR – and we’ll cover that too. This session is provided by Microsoft MR expert Cory Severson.  The class is scheduled for Wednesday Sept 19th from 1:00pm to 5:00 pm and cost $495.

Agenda & Session Builder

You may begin planning your personal agenda for the conference now!  We have added new features on the website which enables you to review each session and build/print and save your own agenda.

To view the general agenda, click on Events menu/Fall Conference 2012 Agenda.  From there, you can click the link to the session details or can also click on Events menu/Fall Conference 2012 Session Viewer.  Sessions are sorted by Title, Presenter, Track, Time or Room assignment and can be viewed by clicking on the appropriate tab.  For session details, click on the title and full details will be listed.

There are two ways to build your personal agenda.  If you have already logged into the website, click the link on the session viewer page.  You can also get to the page thru the Events menu/Already Registered for 2012?/View your Registration Details/My Agenda.

Click on the Edit Agenda box and every time slot for the conference will open.  To see a list of sessions in that time slot, click on Click to add a Session.  A dropdown will appear where you can choose the one that most interests you.  You also have the option to add a personal appointment in a timeslot if you wish.

Once you have added sessions to each time slot, click on the done editing box.  You can then print a full agenda, a smaller agenda that can fit in your name badge, or download the agenda (follow the instructions given).

You can also search for session information by clicking on the search button and search by track, time slot, room, session type and speaker.
