Getting Started with Acumatica ERP – A150 Online

Acumatica ERP version: 2020 R1

Training Description: This training will be useful for people who do not have any experience with Acumatica ERP. Completion of this training will give a basic understanding of the Acumatica ERP UI elements, forms, and reports. You will be shown how to search in Acumatica and use filters. During a training webinar, you will work with table layouts and will personalize your dashboards. You will work with data entry forms and reports, add them to your favorites, and configure your basic working environment.

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over four days as follows:

  • Day 1: Accessing Acumatica ERP and Learning UI. In this session, you will learn how to sign in to Acumatica ERP, switch between the branches, and sign out from the system. You will also know the basic elements of the Acumatica ERP and its workspaces and how to work with them.
  • Day 2: Searching, Filtering, and Modification of Table Layout. In this session, you will learn how to search for different information in different entities of Acumatica ERP. You will get information about different types of filters and will create and then delete your own filters. You will learn how to view the hidden table columns and what specifically should you do to show them, and arrange them in the order you need.
  • Day 3: Working with Data Entry Forms and Personalizing Dashboards. In this session, you will learn what the data entry form and how to work with them. You will learn how to add new records, attachments, and notes to a data entry form. You will learn about the dashboard UI elements and the types of widgets available in Acumatica ERP.
  • Day 4: Working with Report, Managing Your Environment and Favorites. Educational Resources. In this session, you will learn how to work with reports, how to specify report parameters, create and share a report template, run and print the reports. You will learn the ways to add the forms to quick access. You will learn how to personalize your working environment (like personal settings, time zone, default branch, the home page, and system locale) and what education resources are.

Partner Certification: This class is based on the materials of the A150: Getting Started with Acumatica ERP course. Completion of this class does not give you an automatic completion of the related course at Partner University; you will still need to complete the exam at Partner University.

Instructor: Paul Layton

Paul began his career in public accounting as a CPA working in Regional then National Accounting Firms becoming a manager in Accounting and Audit. After leaving public accounting Paul continued to focus on accounting and management positions spending time as a controller for multi-outlet retail operations, as a CFO for the Department of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati and as a CFO at ecampus.com an online retailer of college textbooks. In each of these positions, Paul was in charge of implementing new ERP software. Finding this was a primary calling he began working with a firm in Northern Ky implementing ERP software and has continued working with implementation, training, and sales of ERP systems ever since.

Prerequisites­ None

Advance Preparation None.  Attendees will be provided with a cloud instance and tenant for training purposes.
